Yellow Fever Vaccination & Certification
Designated Centre

As a PHAC-Designated Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre, we are authorized to administer the yellow fever vaccine and issue the International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP) — the official "yellow card" required for entry to many countries in Africa and South America.

Important: The yellow fever vaccine must be administered at least 10 days before entering a country that requires it. We recommend booking at least 14 days before departure to allow for the full immune response.

Destination-Specific Vaccine Assessment

Based on your travel itinerary, we assess which vaccines are required, recommended, or optional for your destination. Common travel vaccines include:

Hepatitis A and B, Typhoid, Japanese Encephalitis, Rabies (pre-exposure prophylaxis), Meningococcal, Cholera, and routine boosters (Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis, MMR, Polio).

Your personalized assessment considers your destinations, planned activities, accommodations, duration of travel, and medical history.

Malaria Prevention

For travel to malaria-endemic regions, we provide a comprehensive risk assessment based on your specific destinations, travel dates, and activities. We prescribe appropriate antimalarial medications and advise on personal protective measures.

Options include Atovaquone-Proguanil (Malarone), Doxycycline, and Mefloquine, selected based on your destination, medical history, and preferences.

Travel Medication Prescriptions

We prescribe medications for common travel health concerns, including:

Travellers' diarrhea (standby antibiotics), altitude sickness prevention (Acetazolamide), motion sickness, insect repellent guidance, and other destination-specific health needs.

Travel Health Certificates & Documentation

Official documentation including the International Certificate of Vaccination (yellow card), vaccination records for school, work, or immigration purposes, and any other health certificates required for your destination.

Pre-Travel Health Consultation

A comprehensive physician-led review of your health in the context of your specific travel plans. This includes risk assessment based on destination and activities, review of existing health conditions and medications, personalized health advice for safe travel, and discussion of any destination-specific health concerns.

Our AI-assisted intake ensures your physician is thoroughly prepared before your consultation — covering destinations, risk exposures, medical history, and vaccination records — so your appointment time is focused on clinical decisions.

Fees & Coverage

Travel medicine consultations and most travel vaccines are not covered by OHIP. They may be covered by your private health insurance plan — check with your provider before your visit.
